Here is a sketch from Drawing Fundamental class.
This sketch is about how I express lines to form several perceptions about the sketch. Although it's just a simple line, but it can serve as many functions. As in this sketch, it serves as something to show movements, depth, weight, gesture, direction, shape, emotion, and values.
The contour line (which is number 6 in the sketch) gives the embossing effect.
